Air velocity transmitters for airflow monitoring systems

The AT400 and TAT420 air velocity transmitters supply accurate air velocity and (TAT420) temperature data from a building or process airflow on a continuous basis to a computer, chart recorder, printer and meter or control circuit.

The THT500 humidity-temperature transmitters supply accurate humidity and temperature data from a room or process air source on a continuous basis to a computer, chart recorder, printer, meter or control circuit.

Every instrument has terminals for both DC and AC power and 0-1 V, 0-5V and 4-20mA output.

  • Specially designed for monitoring indoor air quality.
  • Premier series cabling and probe connections.
  • Simultaneous measurement of air velocity and temperature.
  • The heavy, all metal probe can be used for airstreams that have a wide range of humidity, temperature and contaminants without compromising accuracy.
  • HVAC Testing & Balancing
  • IAQ Investigations
  • Industrial Hygiene Ventilation Verification
  • Filter Face Air Velocity Measurement

Yes, all our instruments come with a calibration certificate.

Annual calibration is recommended to ensure accuracy. However, this can vary based on how often the anemometer is used and the environments it’s used in. Also, some companies have an SOP in place that specifies how often the instrument will need to be serviced. More specifically, regulatory compliances may dictate the calibration interval.

No, these are thermal anemometers that generate heat when in operation; if you expose them to a flammable gas it could cause a fire or explosion. Corrosive or caustic gases, such a chlorine, will damage the sensor on contact. While it is possible to use the instrument in a non-flammable, non-caustic gases the instrument is not calibrated for these gases and it will not measure airflow accurately.
